Party houses no more Durham residents recently had the opportunity to tour 12 homes in the Trinity Park neighborhood. The homes in question were purchased by Duke University in 2006 and then sold to owner-occupants who are lovingly restoring them to their former grandeur. 4/14/08 Herald Sun
Duke gets check for New Hope Preserve Conservation efforts of more than three years concluded with applause and a four-foot-wide check for $1 million to Duke University. The culmination was a 43-acre parcel of New Hope Preserve located on the border of Durham and Orange counties, the result of steadfast efforts of nearby residents and local officials to put it aside for public enjoyment. 4/9/08 Herald Sun
