In spring 2003, a new health clinic opened in the Community and Family Life Center at Lyon Park. Response to the convenient location was so strong — especially from the growing Hispanic community — that the next fall the number of exam rooms and health caregivers was doubled. Another community health clinic — this one at the edge of the Walltown neighborhood — began seeing patients in fall 2004.
