Assistant MEMS Professor Brian Mann and PhD student Firas Khasawneh, both of Duke's Pratt School of Engineering, recently presented a demonstration on sound and vibration to the second grade class at Durham’s Forest View Elementary School. Students learned about sound, vibration, natural frequencies, standing waves and traveling waves.
