Domoniqúe oversees priority initiatives, strategic planning, and reporting efforts for the Duke Office of Durham and Community Affairs (DCA). She is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and measuring progress while leading efforts to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging priority initiatives.

Prior to this role, she served as the Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives and Planning with the Operations, Research, and Advancement team of DCA. In this role, she was responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of the Doing Good employee giving campaign and grants administration and donor outreach efforts.

Domoniqúe has extensive community engagement and program management and development experience. Prior to its integration into DCA’s Civic Engagement team, Domoniqúe worked in the Duke Community Service Center (CSC) for over 20 years, first as the Volunteer Coordinator and later as the Assistant Director of Programs. In this capacity, she oversaw student engagement efforts such as Into the City, Dive into Durham, DukeEngage-Durham, campus and community collaborations, and the various AmeriCorps programs hosted by the CSC. Before relocating to Durham, she trained public housing residents on self-sufficiency and business development as the Program Assistant for the Tennessee Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (TAHRA) statewide AmeriCorps*VISTA project.

She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from N.C. Central University and a BS in Political Science with a Public Administration concentration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
