Duke Volunteer Fair Connects Duke and Organizations

Duke Civic Engagement held its first in-person volunteer fair in Penn Pavilion on September 8, 2022. More than 50 organizations set up tables to share information about community volunteer opportunities. From housing to tutoring, to healthcare, there were a variety of possibilities. Hundreds of Duke students used the opportunity to identify organizations that might align with their studies and passions. It also offered an opportunity for faculty and staff to engage with community organizations. The Duke community can find volunteer opportunities year-round through Duke Civic Engagement’s Connect Community portal.
