Visionary Voices of Environmental Justice - A Community Conversation with Annette Hiatt

Speaker

Annette Hiatt

Join us for the next installment of the Visionary Voices of Environmental Justice community conversation series with Annette Hiatt, Senior Staff Attorney with the Land Loss Prevention Project. She works with small and heritage landowners to retain and preserve the connection of family to the ownership and retention of land. Visionary Voices is a conversation series that brings environmental professionals to Duke to share their career trajectories, reflections on the intersections of environment, conservation, and social justice, and insights for students preparing to enter or influence the environmental field. Our students, across the Nicholas School and the broader Duke community, deeply value opportunities to learn directly from leaders whose work models integrity, purpose, and impact. Hosted by the CEEJ MEM concentration and co-sponsored by Duke River Center and NSOE Dean's Office. A reception with refreshments will be held directly after the event.Register at https://duke.zoom.us/meeting/register/OVeV74okRsy4DJI9rUbXJg#/registration to join virtually.
