In 2023, Duke invested over $10 million in local nonprofits, including partnerships, personnel capacity, scholarships, service, and philanthropy. Duke collaborates with local nonprofit organizations to amplify their work, facilitate coalitions, and fill gaps. In partnership with the Triangle Nonprofit and Volunteer Leadership Center, for over 45 years, our annual Volunteer Fair has connected Duke faculty, staff, and students with service opportunities with dozens of local nonprofit organizations.
