Supporting our partners through funding

Duke raises funds with the help of employees, corporate partners and the institution to contribute to the well-being of our community. We will post opportunities to apply for grants or other support funds here.

Community Fund

Application window is open September 18 – October 16, 2023.
The Doing Good – Community Fund is an annual grant opportunity to support projects that help address significant community needs. Competitive grants are funded by Duke employee donations to Duke’s annual giving campaign.

Education and College & Career Readiness Grants

This grant application will open November 1-30, 2022. The Education and Workforce Doing Good employee giving grant is an annual opportunity for public schools and non-profit organizations offering educational and/or college and career readiness services to young people in Durham County.

Housing & Neighborhoods: 2024 Community Request Info

This grant application is open October 2, 2023 – February 16, 2024. These funds are intended to support the 14 neighborhoods included in the Duke-Durham Neighborhood Partnership (DDNP) by focusing on key needs and priorities determined in consensus among neighborhood stakeholders.
