The week of June 25-29, 2012 was fun-filled and educational all in one! This Global Health Immersion Program was a pilot project, which focused in on refugee health. It was where science and international affairs crossed. About 50 of the best and brightest students gathered together everyday, in the last work week of June. They did activities such as: build tents, visit testing labs, and establish demographics of other countries. By the end of the program, they were able to relate socioeconomics, religion, and health to refugee issues. Want to re-live Global Health WHO week?
