Why Give?
Why do people choose to contribute their time and resources to Duke Doing Good? The reasons are as varied as the schools, nonprofits and neighborhoods that benefit from these gifts.

Why do you give?
I’m grateful that I can give, that I have sufficient resources that I can make a contribution, because I think it’s incumbent upon us to give as we can and where we can for those that don’t have all of the necessary resources to grow and thrive.
Why do you give specifically to the Youth Empowerment category?
Two things are my passion: youth and education. For me, that’s the most critical junction on which to have a lasting impact. It’s a big life-changer.
What does it mean to you to be a part of Duke Doing Good?
Duke is a highly respected institution; I’m honored to be a small part of this generous community and to contribute through Doing Good.
