Join Durham and Regional Affairs staff members and community volunteers at the Durham Public Schools Literacy Summit, to learn about the reading and writing needs of local elementary students and how you can help.
As a result of the state’s new Read to Achieve law, thousands of third-grade students in Durham and across the state are expected to attend a summer literacy camp. Join us and learn what we can do as volunteers to help our children improve their reading skills.
Learn the Big 6 literacy strategies, hear from community leaders, and walk away with the tools and inspiration needed to support a child!
