Nadia brings to this role over ten years of experience working in the nonprofit and public health sectors. She has been responsible for programs that focus on ensuring exceptional experiences for community members, and as a service-oriented leader, she thrives when she’s able to contribute to impactful change.
Nadia discovered her passion for supporting efforts for community change while receiving a Master’s degree in Community and Social Change from the University of Miami. In her previous role, she served as the Community Inclusion Specialist for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), where she was responsible for developing and facilitating CDPHE’s innovative Community Advisory Board and Youth Advisory Council (referred to as the Youth Partnership for Health). Prior to working at CDPHE, she served as the Partnerships Engagement Manager at Prevent Child Abuse NC, where she lead efforts in sustaining collaborative partnerships and facilitating networking and training opportunities across the state of North Carolina.
