Phyllis Little serves as DCA’s Financial Management Analyst. She oversees the organization’s financial operations, budgeting, grant management, contract negotiations, and overall risk management. With a wealth of experience, Phyllis brings a robust background in finance and administration to our team.

Before joining DCA, Phyllis worked in the Office of University Development as the Business Manager for Finance. She’s also held various challenging financial positions at Glaxo Welcome and NIH/NIEHS. Phyllis came to Duke in 2006 as a financial analyst in the Duke Human Vaccine Institute and was later promoted to the Grants and Contracts Administrator. She also served as the Accounts Payable Manager for Hydro Services and Supplies. 

Phyllis holds a MSAC degree from Strayer University and a BS degree from North Carolina Central University. She has also received the Executive Certificate in Financial Planning and Certified Financial Manager certification from Duke University.
