Richmond County: Richmond Senior High School Adviser

Hello, I’m Alana Marshall. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology and minors in biology and Japanese language. I became a college adviser because this role was something my peers and I needed when we were seniors in high school. We were from a low-income area, and many were first-generation students. I wanted to give back to my community while helping high schoolers in my situation. I’m very happy to be serving in this role!
