Assistant Director, Community-Engaged Scholarship

 
Camry Wilborn Mercer is the Assistant Director for Community-Engaged Scholarship at Duke Community Affairs. She leads initiatives that strengthen partnerships between the university and local communities, supporting faculty, students, and community partners in developing ethical, equity-centered, and mutually beneficial collaborations.
 
Camry earned her B.A. in Political Science from Wake Forest University and her M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Higher Education at North Carolina State University, where her research examines race, institutional power, and university–community engagement.
