Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Community Affairs

Donna serves as the executive assistant to the vice president of community affairs, where she manages the daily operations of the office and acts as a liaison with both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, she oversees the vice president’s schedule, meetings, travel, communications, correspondence, hospitality, and events. She also provides support on special projects, offering organizational expertise to advance Duke-Durham partnerships.

With more than 20 years of experience in office management, human resources, and payroll administration, Donna brings a strong background in organizational support and process management. Before joining Duke Community Affairs in October 2018, she worked in both corporate and nonprofit environments, including seven years at a behavioral health agency providing support to the community, as well as five years with SAS Institute as a payroll coordinator.
