Serving North Carolina

College Advising Corps

The College Advising Corps (CAC) at Duke University works to increase the number of low-income, First Generation College and underrepresented high school students in rural North Carolina who enter and complete higher education. Duke currently has 18 college advisers in central North Carolina high schools.

NC LiteracyCorps

Duke University’s North Carolina LiteracyCorps is a statewide consortium of AmeriCorps members working to build the capacity and impact of community and campus-based literacy programs. Members will provide direct service and/or capacity-building support to local education nonprofits and schools in Durham, Wake, Buncombe, and Mecklenburg Counties.
