AmeriCorps at Duke

AmeriCorps: To improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering.

Evaluation, Assessment and Data Consultation for Community Organizations

Duke Civic Engagement and the Duke Social Science Research Institute are partnering to offer an opportunity for community-based organizations to build skills and get feedback in evaluation, applied research and empirical/data needs (e.g., survey design / implementation, interview and focus group design / implementation, and foundations of data management) via individualized consultation sessions.

The America Reads / America Counts (ARAC) program is designed to enhance the primary-level reading and math skills of children in Durham while offering Duke students a chance to gain valuable experience and give back to their community.
