Tuscaloosa Lakewood: Building Bridges

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, Tuscaloosa Lakewood Neighborhood Association partnered with Lakewood Elementary PTA to reduce barriers to parental participation in PTA meetings.

Old West Durham: Bicycle Pedestrian Safety Study

Utilizing a Doing Good Grant, Old West Durham Neighborhood Association partnered with Bike Durham to identify key danger spots and devise workable solutions in dialogue with neighbors and city/state officials.

Burch Avenue & Brookstown Oral Histories

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, Burch Avenue partnered with the Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice to utilize storytelling to preserve and activate the history of Burch Avenue and Brookstown.

Watts Hospital Hillandale: Upgrading the Plantings at Oval Park

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, Watts Hospital Hillandale Neighborhood Association worked to beautify Oval Park by replacing trees, mitigate wet areas and stop erosion along the sloped areas.
