Why Give?
Why do people choose to contribute their time and resources to Duke Doing Good? The reasons are as varied as the schools, nonprofits and neighborhoods that benefit from these gifts.
Why do you give?
The Duke mission is not just for campus, it’s for neighborhoods and community. We need to build success for communities, which means success for Duke.
What areas are important to you?
My work involves patient care, research and education. So for me, everything related to the well-being of the people around is so important.
Why is Doing Good giving critical now?
It is a critical and challenging time. The community needs it more now (due to COVID). So if possible, i think people should give more or for the first time. We definitely need to do everything we can.
