A Year of Success for the Community Engaged Scholarship Collaborative

The Community-Engaged Scholarship Collaborative (CESC) was launched in the 2021-2022 academic year to cultivate a community of practice among faculty, staff and community partners. One year in, the group is evaluating its impacts through coordination, support and learning engaged-scholarship practices with the Duke and Durham communities.

Community Fund Grants Open

DCA is now accepting grant applications for the Doing Good - Community Fund (DGCF). The themes addressed are Affordable Housing, Young Adult Empowerment & Education, Child Development & Education, Food Access & Education, Healthy Communities, and Environment & Sustainability. The application window is open from Sept. 20 to Oct. 17, 2022.
