Bridging the vast knowledge resources of the community with that of Duke, the Community Leaders-in-Residence Program will invite thought leaders who work in nonprofits or the government to participate in meaningful exchange with the Duke community. Engaged for semester-long residencies in summer, fall, and spring, Leaders-in-Residence will take part in formal and informal interactions including:
- Co-developing community research projects related to DCA’s five focus areas
- Participating in individual and small group events
- Hosting webinars and workshops
- Mentoring students in the Data Science Initiative
