Inspiring Duke College Adviser Alum
Overcoming early life challenges, Brittany Coleman went on to attend Duke and joined College Advising Corps as an adviser in 2014, serving students attending an under-resourced high school in rural North Carolina.
A Year of Success for the Community Engaged Scholarship Collaborative
The Community-Engaged Scholarship Collaborative (CESC) was launched in the 2021-2022 academic year to cultivate a community of practice among faculty, staff and community partners. One year in, the group is evaluating its impacts through coordination, support and learning engaged-scholarship practices with the Duke and Durham communities.
