Pauli Murray Center Receives Grant, Recognition

Duke's Barbara Lau and Durham and Community Affairs Asst. VP, Mayme Webb-Bledsoe are recognized for the years of work honoring the legacy of Pauli Murray. The center recently won a $1.6M 3-year grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support the work.

Improving our Parks: Lakeview Park

Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR) staff began meeting with residents living near Lakeview Park. They were invited by the neighborhood and the Duke-Durham Neighborhood Partnership to help re-vision the park. Over the course of two years they developed a master plan for the park with the growing Braggtown Community Association.
