Progress Update: Lakeview Park Stage

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, Bragtown Community Association, Reinvestment Partners, and Durham Parks and Recreation are working on constructing a stage in Lakeview Park. Read about their progress.

Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice: Greater West End Oral History Project

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, The Pauli Murray Center, Lyon Park Neighborhood, and West End Neighborhood collected oral histories to save and protect the history of historically marginalized neighbors.

West End Community Foundation: West End Strong

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, West End Community Foundation, Lyon Park Neighborhood and West End Neighborhood conducted several activities that strengthened community connections.

Walltown Neighborhood Sign

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, Amy E. Kelly Foundation and Walltown Community Association are working to install a Walltown Neighborhood sign.

Housing & Neighborhoods Grants

These Doing Good grants are intended to support the 14 neighborhoods included in the Duke-Durham Neighborhood Partnership (DDNP) by focusing on key needs and priorities determined in consensus among neighborhood stakeholders.

Burch Avenue: Neighborhood Traffic Calming

Utilizing a Doing Good grant, Bike Durham and Burch Avenue implemented traffic calming measures powered by neighborhood problem identification, solution development and implementation.
